Why the Change?
During the WordPress Plugin Review process, we took a step back to carefully evaluate not just compliance requirements, but also the long-term direction of the plugin. While Mini Shop started as a lightweight commerce solution, the name no longer reflected the growing scope, flexibility, and capabilities of the plugin.
To ensure clarity, uniqueness, and full compliance with WordPress.org guidelines, we made the decision to rebrand and evolve the plugin into Kitbix Commerce.
